MENA Water Network

One of the most promising and high-quality content professional networks and Communities of Practice (CoP) in MENA region is the MENA water network.
As it describes itself "MENA Water is an independent community of practice dealing with issues related to water management in the Middle East and North Africa Region. It is not affiliated with any country, organization or institution. It is a forum which aims to create an enabling environment for open interaction, focused discussion and dialogue. The resulting knowledge exchange will lead to a wider dissemination, scaling up and application of best practices for sustainable water resources management."
MENA Water has established an online location at Wikispaces here 
 
While it was originally created as a Development Group (DGroup)  linked to the World Bank and located here 
 
  Currently the network contains 389 participants with high experience on water issues in the Middle East. The group has a variety of resources and the interactivity of messages is impressive with a total of 843 message at the time of writing this post.
