Source: Al Maghrebeieh Network A national energy plan aimed at improving Moroccans' quality of life through access to quality energy at lower costs is being prepared by the Moroccan Energy Ministry, Energy Minister Mohamed Boutaleb said at the Ministerial Council session last week. The main highlights of the plan include encouraging the rationalisation of energy consumption and promoting renewable sources. The project will be given priority in the rural areas within the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH). The plan envisages the introduction of regulations for energy saving in all public buildings and the substitution of ten million standard light bulbs with low-consumption ones
