Thanks to my fellow Jordanian blogger Naseem Tarawnah I was facing the shock of my life. In his blog he teased his readers to guess who actually was saying the following sentences last week:
"In fact, the life of all of mankind is in danger because of the global warming resulting to a large degree from the emissions of the factories of the major corporations, yet despite that, the representative of these corporations in the White House insists on not observing the Kyoto accord, with the knowledge that the statistic speaks of the death and displacement of the millions of human beings because of that, especially in Africa. This greatest of plagues and most dangerous of threats to the lives of humans is taking place in an accelerating fashion as the world is being dominated by the democratic system, which confirms its massive failure to protect humans and their interests from the greed and avarice of the major corporations and their representatives".
Pretty cool stuff. Most of the readers will think of Al Gore waging a one man campaign against corporate emissions of greenhouse gases. However it turns out that the wise speaker is no other than the natorious Osama Bin Laden, considered as the leader of global terror campaigns.
In his latest video brief to the World and American people he mentioned the crimes of corporate politics in the USA and used Global Warming an an example. The man who caused the deaths of thousands of people and eternal grief for their families is showing a strange compassion for the well being of humanity.
This is really an amazing text. I am very intrigued to know who are those "environmentalists" in his group who have manageed to design this sentence and declare an environmentally friendly message from a mass murderer. However, this example used by Bin Laden is a perfect example of how the issue of global warming is being highlighted even in the agenda of extremist organizations.
One other thing to wonder about. It is amazing to see how Bin Laden managed to reach this conclusion about Global Warming while the majority of Arab politicians and economists have yet to be so clear in their assessment.
Any chance of Bin Laden speaking in the next UNFCCC Conference of Parties, or collaborating with Al Gore in a new awareness and advocacy production?

Understand the ideology behind it, Bin Laden sees the US as an enemy that is threatening the existence of everything, its one thing to kill an enemy but it's completely different to kill everything that lives on the face of the planet...
Plus this is something that is being so obviously mismanaged by the US why not use it against them... especially if you are bombed day and night by them!!
What’s strange about that?!

First off, good thing you mentioned this blog on Jordan Watch, I had no idea it existed!
It's funny you mention this pro-environment Bin Laden statement. Last week I proposed a conspiracy theory (not seriously) based on the western media's obsessive focus on 2 Bin Laden arguments in his last video: 1. His call to convert to Islam; 2. His dissing capitalism.
Now that you bring up this environment message, especially mentioning kyoto, my theory has been given another boost!!
Its too lengthy to explain in this comment, so check it the second half of this post: http://raabish.blogspot.com/2007/09/obls-sept-2007-video-conspiracy-theory.html
let me know what you think!! i'm no conspiracy nut, quite the opposite actually, but i like to indulge patterns.
