Tomorrow I will be flying to the beautiful Alexandria to participate and act as a rapporteur in a debate conference entitled "Future of Sustainability in the Arab World" which will jointly organized by IUCN and Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
This will be a great chance for me to be back to the massive scientific and cultural icon of Bibliotheca Alexandrina and get another dose of firm belief of the ability of the Arab World to be an equal partner in the quest for knowledge and progress.
I will use the spirit of Bibliotheca Alexandrina to think deeply about the possibility of creating a new blog that I have been thinking about for three months now which will be the first of its kind (regarding content and objectives) in the Arab World.
Will be blogging back soon, maybe from the Bibliotheca itself on Wednesday.

I am a young Saudi woman who has been struggling for years to bring in the matter of environment - with various weak responses or dismissals. It is heartening to see someone in the Arab world working for the environmental goal as well.
